Dr. Jason Dowdell, born on August 20, 1976, in Charlotte, North Carolina, is a dedicated leader and scholar in ministry. Raised in Gaston County, he graduated from South Point High School in 1994. Following his graduation, Jason married his best friend, Valerie Dowdell, and embarked on an educational journey that would shape his future.

 

Dr. Dowdell earned a Bachelor of Divinity Degree from the West Lenoir Baptist School of Ministry in 2003 and continued his studies to achieve a Master of Divinity Degree from the same institution in 2005. His commitment to theological scholarship culminated in a Doctor of Ministry degree from Andersonville Theological Seminary in 2022.

 

Residing in Greensboro, NC, Jason and Valerie are proud parents of five children and cherish their role as grandparents to a beautiful granddaughter, who is the joy of their lives. Through his academic achievements and deep family values, Dr. Dowdell exemplifies a life devoted to faith, learning, and love.
